No Happy Ending for you! (Updated)

I Will Not Love You Long TimeNearly one out of three people prefer dirty sex talk to, well, pretty much anything else.  According to my stat counter, of the 728 columns I’ve posted since June of 2011, only ten of them received almost 30% of the hits (25,351 out of 86,033) on VotersOpinion.com.  Not surprisingly, this series of columns, all published between February and May of last year, had to do with Asian “Massage” Parlors (or AMPs).

The one column in which I spelled out in lurid detail about what REALLY goes on in those sex-for-sale shops posing as legitimate businesses got 64% of those 25,000 plus hits.

Another column about AMPs called The Best Little Whorehouse in Miami garnered almost 11% of the hits on those ten columns.  This was the second most read column on this website.

The only explanation I can think of for the high volume of traffic on these two particular blogs is the fact that both columns included examples of sexually explicit language used on “massage” parlor message boards.

Kinda creepy of you think about it, huh?

At the risk of dramatically lowering my annual hit count, I’ve decided to delete those two columns.  Those 25,000 or so horny men who’ve had their cheap thrills in front of their computer screens for the last year are just gonna have to get their kicks somewhere else.  There are plenty of Asian “Massage” Parlors still in business.  I figure they can pay for their own Happy Endings from now on.

I have not deleted the other eight columns* that don’t include “dirty sex talk,” but deal with the busts of Asian “Massage” Parlors for prostitution, human trafficking and unlicensed AMP workers.  Those columns highlight the very real problem that these establishments present for the women whose lives have been ruined by trafficking and forced prostitution, as well as the communities in which they have been allowed to proliferate.  (*NOTE:  All of them are now deleted.  I don’t give a crap anymore, either.)

If neither the law enforcement community nor the state and local health departments can’t, or won’t, shut these places down permanently, this is obviously a problem that’s way bigger than anything I care to tackle anymore.  C’est la vie.

To all those losers out there with “Yellow Fever,” who fantasize that your Asian “masseuse” is really in love with you (and your big, white hairy bellies and man boobs), just google “where can I get My Happy Ending?” and pick one.

Just don’t forget to bring a condom.

Or your wallet.  ‘Cuz that kinda “love” don’t come cheap.

  1. Just curious about this statement:

“Those 25,000 or so horny men who’ve had their cheap thrills in front of their computer screens for the last year are just gonna have to get their kicks somewhere else.”

SEEMS reasonable, but might be a bit too narrow. Possibly it was the wives of men suspected of going to AMP’s. Possibly it was other men who were curious about the culture and thought you did an excellent job of explaining it. Possibly it was some LEO’s.

    Anyway, its no surprise really.

    1. You’re right that probably not all 25k were horny men. I’m also sure that quite a few of them were frequent visitors. For obvious reasons. I probably did too well a job of explaining it LOL! Either way, I didn’t want this website to be responsible any longer for their self-induced happy endings. I’ve moved on. It’s time they did, too. The internet is filled with guilty pleasures for them.

  2. I will not speak as to my “horny” characteristics, I will admit I’m a retired LEO. And, based on that I will remind that in the ’70 through mid ’90s there were units, ie the Organized Crime Bureau, that had Vice units…the Police Districts had VIN units…guess what the V acronym stood for. Many court rulings deterred the ongoing enforcement of, as you now call them AMP, Nude Cubs/dancers (the violation had as its element to prove that “pink” was shown), Bolita (numbers) was a major target, and rightly so given their ties to organized crime…..the only thing that “was” is the enforcement. We have ourselves to blame for what is or isn’t acceptably legal behavior. Look to those you elect, judge and know their character prior to election. Make known that those in power need to legally empower their Enforcement Agency, not destroy them for self serving reasons.
