Recipients of the US Department of Justice Attorney General Award of Excellence in Furtherance in the Interest of the US National Security.
State Attorney office presented this award by DEA Special Agent Jaime Camacho to two NMBPD finest (at center) DEA Task Force Officer Det. Sergio Diaz, Sgt. William Boporman  for targeting dangerous organisations since 2009 that had ties with the notorious terrorist groups such as FARC and others. They seized over US$285 million, 46 arrests, 50 private properties, 17 high valued vehicles, 9 high valued aircraft, 49 indictments among other things. Part of the LETF (Law Enforcement Trust Fund) program in which the City gets a portion of the proceeds that goes to fund certain projects.
