Frantzie Watch Begins

sporkweaselLittle more than a year before North Miami Beach Councilcritter Frantz Pierre has to convince voters to let him keep his seat on the dais, The P Man is already gearing up for what is guaranteed to be a contentious election.

As he did in 2013, word has it that he’s already collecting random Haitians from near and far in yet another attempt to build the “HAITIAN MAJORITY!” City Council that Frantzie’s buddy Joseph Gourgue has been gunning for since 2008.  Not only were their high hopes dashed – NMB went from three Haitian Council members down to one in just two election cycles – but the last election also increased our Hispanic leadership from zero to three seats.  Considering that at 37% of the population, Hispanics represent the fastest growing segment of the population in North Miami Beach, and with Haitians representing less than 22%, I’d say that our City Council is demographically correct for the first time in, like, ever.

The truth, however, is that unlike Frantzie, I don’t play Identity Politics.  I don’t care what the ethnic balance is on that dais as long as our elected officials keep their noses clean and stay out of trouble.  Seriously, is that too much to ask?

It truly is most unfortunate that the only Haitian sitting up there is a full fledged member in good standing of the Circle of Corruption.  Suffice it to say that anyone Pee-Aire tries to install in a North Miami Beach election is guaranteed to be equally, if not even more, corrupt than the Spork Weasel of NMB himself – L’il Frantzie P.

Circle of Corruption1

As part of Frantzie’s pre-re-election campaign, the corruptocrat is hosting a “First Time Buyers Event” at the Uleta Community Center this Saturday.  According to the details on the City’s website, attendees can learn all the ins and outs of buying a home for the first time, including how to receive “Down Payment Assistance!”

Most likely using other people’s money.

This process is also known as “Scamming for Dollars the North Miami Way.”  This method was perfected by Frantzie’s Circle of Corruption colleague, North Miami Councilwoman Marie Steril, who was able to obtain a house for her mom, courtesy of North Miami taxpayers.  That session should be very educational.

Perhaps Pee-Aire will personally give a lecture instructing other first time home buyers on “How to Buy a Four Million Dollar Home in Eastern Shores on an $80,000.00 a Year Salary.”

This is exactly what L’il Frantzie P claimed he was going to do when he recused himself from voting on a variance regarding the house in question.

That was also right before he put on his superhero cape and leaped over City Hall in a single bound.

Of course, Frantzie’s being a “potential buyer” was merely a figment of his imagination.  When interviewed by the Miami Herald’s Patricia Sagastume about The P Man’s intentions, developer Abraham Galsky said, “Frantz who?”

But on Planet Frantzie, anything is possible.

Neverland

Whether it’s creating his wet-dream fantasy of a “HAITIAN MAJORITY!” on the City Council, or buying his very own Neverland Ranch, the Crown Prince of Weaseldom will always be entertaining!

Oh, I am so gonna have a blast between now and Election Day.

  1. Frantz Pierre fears no man for attorney Joe Geller watches over him and he is one of those sacred cows who walks the halls of the State Attorney’s Office peddling influence and getting his sleazeball clients off. Carry on Frantzie you are free to roam! Incidently, has any building inspector noticed the non permitted additions Frantzie has made to his castle?

  2. The Haitian majority ship has sailed; you can see it in the make-up of our population, our businesses, and in direct correlation to the make-up of the council. Back in 2005 during the real estate bubble, when lenders were lying about the income source of applicants, there was a major influx of Haitians into North Miami Beach, which then reflected itself in the make-up of the council, and our businesses. I remember Haitian restaurants popping up in every other corner. By now most of those homeowners have lost their homes due to the crookedness of lenders, and most of the Haitian mom and pop businesses have closed down only to be picked them up by Hispanics; and once again you can see it in the make-up of the council and our businesses. The surge of successful Latin restaurants in the city and the surrounding area is simply amazing: La Granja has opened a second restaurant, we have at least six (very successful) Peruvian restaurants, Cuban Guys just opened in Sky Lake Mall, and there are dozens more Hispanic-owned businesses and homeowners coming into the city every day. There is a new ship in town, and it is not sailing away any time soon.

    1. Now if we can just get the Hispanics out to vote, that would be a good thing. I’ve been trying for years to get the non-Cuban Hispanics interested in our city’s politics, to no avail. As a founding member of the now defunct Latin American Association of NMB, I can tell you that this effort was an epic fail. Can you get that ship to bring more Cubans here? Por favor?
