Has Big Ben lost his mojo?

mojo-lostJust last month, criminal attorney Benedict P. Kuehne scored another “win” in his defense of North Miami Beach EX-Mayor Myron Rosner’s FELONY case.  According to the docket updated last Friday, on August 29, 2014, he managed to delay Myron’s case.  Again.

This time, another “trial hearing” is scheduled for February 17, 2015.

This will be nearly two and a half years after he was arrested on September 20, 2012 and charged with four FELONIES and five misdemeanors.

Yes, this is getting ridiculous.

However, just hours ago, a jury found one of Kuehne’s clients G-U-I-L-T-Y.

I hope you were sitting down when you read that.

As the Miami Herald reported, the former Mayor of Homestead, Steven Bateman, was “convicted on two felony counts of illegal compensation and one misdemeanor count of illegal lobbying.”

Despite the fact that a jury of Bateman’s peers found him to be guilty beyond all reasonable doubt, his lawyer told the Herald, “There is no evidence to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that Mayor Bateman acted corruptly.”

Obviously, the jury disagreed with Ben.

Almost as shocking as a guilty verdict, however, is the fact that Bateman went from arrested to convicted in thirteen months and fifteen days.

We’ve been waiting twice that long for Myron to be brought to justice.

Then again, Steven Bateman isn’t married to CIRCUIT COURT JUDGE SARAH ZABEL.

Just saying.

In the meantime, Ben, here’s another tee shirt for ya.

I lost my mojoEnjoy!
