    1. I updated the blog within minutes after the judge reduced the sentence. Channel 10 was the first to report it. The Herald soon followed.

  1. Amazingly, Tondreau was arrested long after former North Miami Beach Mayor Myron Rosner and yet his case remains in limbo, possibly waiting for Katherine Fernandez-Rundle to retire, before they finally take that case to trial. I wonder how many witnesses are still alive or living in South Florida or for that matter, how many of those law enforcement officials or prosecutors who worked on that case are still employed by their agencies. Score another one for Kathy’s crew of corrupt prosecutors. Not even Al Flex can exterminate the rats at the SAO.

    1. Two of the investigators have already retired. The corruption at the SAO is so deep, I don’t know if it’s even fixable. Fernandez-Rundle is THE reason why so many corrupt politicians are free to commit crimes and still hold public office. She is THE reason that there will never be a free and fair election in Miami-Dade County. Broward probably has a good share of corruption, but I seriously doubt it comes close to the dirty politicking that goes on south of the border. I thought Chicago was bad…

  2. It’s hard to stomach this crap. Really? She wished she understood the implications of what she was doing? And this is what a city elects to be their Mayor, and still whimpers and stands by her side? I’m now concerned about the public officials that praised her and stand by her side now, WTF? GOOD GRIEF. What about whimpering and falling off the bench for the poor people she took advantage of? She’s just upset that she got caught and has to pay the price. Poor Lucie, my heart doesn’t break for you or anyone else that takes advantage of people especially by breaking the law doing it! It’s interesting how the tides change. When they arrested her she was so smug, ready for the media, claimed her innocence, but now that reality sets in, that she got caught and is going to the hoosegow, she cries. P A H L E E Z E !

  3. It’s actually two things. OMFG, Ben lost a case! And I wonder if that coco douce will serve her as well in the pen as it has on the outside?
