According to a press release just issued by the North Miami Beach Police Department, Armed Carjacking Subject Shot by Victim, a 13 year old male attempted a carjacking shortly after midnight this morning in the area of NE 159 Street and 16 Avenue.

Unfortunately for the perpetrator, the passenger in the car wasn’t in the mood to be messed with, and promptly shot the subject-turned-victim, who ended up in surgery.

The dumbass, who is expected to recover, will be then end up in the hoosegow facing a charge of attempted carjacking.

His three homies took off before they got shot, too.

The public is being asked for information regarding this crime by calling Miami Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS (8477).  If your info leads to a further arrest, there is a cash reward.

The moral of the story is:  If you’re gonna fail, do it epically.

  1. In the weekly crime report from NMB for the period of 2/8 – 2/14, there were 5 cars stolen and 15 vehicle burglaries. I am glad the citizen was able to protect him or herself last night. Would like to see NMB Pilice give a class to the community on how we can protect ourselves, our rights to protect ourselves, etc. we are so overridden with crime, police cannot be everywhere.we need to know our rights because that is what it has come down to.Stand your ground

  2. Easy to fix ! Demand and back them up, from cops ,to enforce to the fullest the law! There are a few cops outhere, ready to work hard , to take criminals to jail, they need the citizens to back them up ! If I was a commissioner I would try to pass a law that cops who live in the city would get a greater % in pay ! It will be a little more personal for them to enforce the law !
