The Second Amendment is not about hunting. It is about allowing the people means to fight against the government, if the latter were to become a tyranny.

Guns don’t kill people any more than box cutters, airplanes and kitchen appliances kill people! They are all inanimate objects that cannot get up and shoot (cut, fly, explode) on their own without a human catalyst.
Oh, and for your information, I’m pretty sure the nightclub was a “gun-free zone.” I guess the terrorist didn’t know that, right?
