Man Beaten By Mob, In Critical Condition

Mobile police need your help to catch a mob that beat Matthew Owens so badly that he’s in critical condition.
According to police, Owens fussed at some kids playing basketball in the middle of Delmar Drive about 8:30 Saturday night. They say the kids left and a group of adults returned, armed with everything but the kitchen sink.
Police tell News 5 the suspects used chairs, pipes and paint cans to beat Owens.
Owens’ sister, Ashley Parker, saw the attack. “It was the scariest thing I have ever witnessed.” Parker says 20 people, all African American, attacked her brother on the front porch of his home, using “brass buckles, paint cans and anything they could get their hands on.”
Police will only say “multiple people” are involved.
What Parker says happened next could make the fallout from the brutal beating even worse. As the attackers walked away, leaving Owen bleeding on the ground, Parker says one of them said “Now thats justice for Trayvon.” Trayvon Martin is the unarmed teenager police say was shot and killed February 26 by neighborhood watch captain George Zimmerman in Samford, Florida.
Police canvassed the area, but did not find any suspects. They’re asking anyone with information to call them at 251-208-7211, Crime Stoppers at 251-208-7000, or text a tip to 274637 and include the keyword CRIME 411.

Do you really think Sharpton/Jackson will do anything. They can’t get the publicity to help them steal more money from people for their worthless causes.
It was acutally a rhetorical question. I KNOW they don’t give a crap if a white person gets beaten or murdered. They also don’t give a crap about any blacks who happen to be killed by other blacks. All they care about is furthering their own racist agenda, which is why they jump on anything that involves a white (or now Hispanic) perpetrator and a black victim. Sharpton and Jackson are racists to the core of their being. Not to mention opportunists.

A man charged with a hate crime in Oak Park this week told police he was so upset about the Trayvon Martin case that he beat up a man because he was white, authorities said.
Alton L. Hayes III, 18, of Oak Park, and a 15-year-old Chicagoan — both black — walked up behind the 19-year-old victim and pinned his arms to his side early Tuesday, police said. Hayes then picked up a large tree branch, pointed it at the man and said, “Empty your pockets, white boy.”
They rifled through his pockets, threw him to the ground and punched him in the head and back “numerous times,” police said.
They ran off, but officers sent to the scene spotted them and arrested them.
After he was arrested, Hayes told police he was upset by the racially charged Trayvon Martin case in Florida and beat the man because he was white, Cook County state’s attorney’s office spokeswoman Tandra Simonton said, citing court records.
Hayes was charged with attempted robbery, aggravated battery and a hate crime, all felonies.
He was ordered held on $80,000 bond and remained in Cook County Jail on Friday. The 15-year-old was referred to juvenile court.

all hate crimes are criminal! the fact that it happened to a white man by black individuals only adds to the senseless violence that is part of American history. From the genocide of Native Americans to vilifying Jews, Polish, Asian immigrants and the mass African slavery, Black lynchings in the Jim Crow South. “Violence is as American as cherry pie” and the only people who will ever change that history of violence is those Americans themselves.
