Sorry, Frank. Rocket Science isn’t for everyone.

EinsteinThe newest Fan of the Blog is none other than NORTH MIAMI lawyer Frank Wolland, who also happens to represent North Miami Beach Faux candidate Yvenoline “Yve” Dargenson in the lawsuit filed by NMB Councilwoman Beth Spiegel.  Ms. Spiegel, as do the rest of us with working braincells, contends that Yve doesn’t live in our city, but in MIRAMAR.

Seems that Mr. Wolland is such a fan that he brought copies of my blogs to court last Wednesday as proof (more…)

The Daily Dargenson: Sign on the dotted line

John HancockThe thing about Campaign Treasurer’s Reports is that they have to be accurate.  I’m pretty sure that they also have to be signed by the candidate and the treasurer.  I’m also pretty sure that if someone other than the candidate and treasurer sign the CTRs, it’s considered forgery.  Even a fifth grader should know that forgery is a crime.

A review of North Miami Beach Faux candidate Yvenoline “Yve” Dargenson’s Affidavit of Candidate and two Loyalty Oaths that she submitted in order to run for city council (more…)

Can you help this cat find his family?

Scottish Fold CatA North Miami Beach resident has found this beautiful Scottish Fold cat, who is obviously someone’s missing pet.  The resident wants nothing more than to find the owners of this beautiful cat, who must be frantic with worry.  No reward is being sought other than to make sure the kitty and family are reunited.

Please share this with your friends and neighbors in the hopes that someone you know can help bring “Scotty” home.  Please contact me if you have any information.

The Daily Dargenson: Order in the Court

Order in the CourtThe case of Spiegel vs. Dargenson marches on.  According to the Docket posted on the Miami-Dade County Clerk of Court’s website as of today, the judged ruled on the Plaintiff’s Emergency Motion for Contempt Re: Defendant Dargenson’s Response (or Lack Thereof) to Subpoena Deuces Tecum, and Motion to Compel, entered by Ms. Spiegel’s attorney, Joseph S. Geller.  Based on the information published, on May 15, 2013, Judge Gayles granted the Plaintiff’s Motion to Compel and deferred the Motion for Contempt.

In plain English, the judge basically told Yve to put on her big girl pants and produce the documents as ordered by the Subpoena.  By deferring the Motion for Contempt, (more…)

The Daily Dargenson: No news is, well, no news

Nothing to see hereWhen it comes to the media, I truly believe they are living in an alternate universe.  I’m hard pressed to figure out what our local news affiliates deem worthy of reporting and what they decide is not news.

Last March, for example, I reported an incident about North Miami Beach Senior High School students rioting inside a local Walgreens in response to the Trayvon Martin incident.  I handed the story to WSVN Channel 7 and practically begged them to run it, but they sat on it for four days while Channels 4, 6 and 10 picked it up.  When asked why WSVN didn’t air the story, (more…)

North Miami, the Devil made you do it!

Anna Pierre UnraveledUnwilling to let her fifteen minutes of fame expire gracefully, North Miami mayoral wannabe Anna L. Pierre is blaming her devastating loss at the polls on the Prince of Darkness.

No, I’m not talking about Ozzie Osbourne.  I’m talking about Lucifer, a/k/a Satan, a/k/a Beelzebub.  If you believe Mizz Sugar Cookie, good ol’ Satan himself journeyed from the bowels of Hades to North Miami just to cast a spell on y’all, forcing you to choose one of his Evil Minions over her Jesus-endorsed self for mayor.

According to both the Miami Herald and NBC Miami, Anna Pierre claimed that there’s no way in Hell (more…)

North Miami Beach: David Templer Endorsements

Friends and neighbors, the NMB Runoff Election will be this coming Tuesday, the 21st of May (for early voting see below).  I merely remind you that this date should be penciled in to your calendar.  I will stop just shy of pleading with you to vote and telling you how important it is.

However, it should be noted that in one seat the challenger is alleged not to actually live in the City of NMB (more…)

Stop the presses! North Miami Election Analysis and Gadfly Endorsements!

stop.the.pressesAfter yesterday’s trouncing at the polls in North Miami, Anna L. Pierre can now take her sugar cookie and slither back home to MIRAMAR.  Jesus may love her, but the voters laughed her out of town.  Of the 6,786 people who cast their votes in the mayoral race, Princess Bonbon received a humiliating 56.  With 116 nods, even Modira Escarment, who never showed up at all, snatched more than twice that.  Maybe it was the voodoo after all.  Just saying.

In the mayoral race, the biggest winner was Kevin Burns with 2,254 votes, followed by NON-RESIDENT Lucie Tondreau with 1,870.  Smith Joseph came in third with 1,561 votes.  Considering he spent $190,143.25 on his campaign, that breaks down to $121.81 per nod, or about the price of a doctor’s visit.  Maybe he should have stayed at the office instead of run for one.  (more…)
