The North Miami press conference scheduled for Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at 2:00 PM in front of the North Miami Police Department regarding the July 18, 2016 police involved shooting of an unarmed black man with his hands up by NMPD SWAT team member Jonathan Aledda has now been postponed.

The reason the press conference is being postponed is because the NM City Attorney finally talked some sense into Scott Galvin and the City Manager to not incriminate the City and more than they already have and increase the payout that the taxpayers will ultimately pay for. Although police investigations do take a lot more time then they should, in this case, they should expedite it and come to an agreement with Mr. Kinsey as soon as possible.
Scott, go back to being a politician and let the police and city attorney do their jobs. Sometimes you need to heed the “Silence is Golden” rule.
