Frantzie Watch: The Devil is in the Details

In his pursuit of getting rich off taxpayer money justice, the fraudulently “re-elected” NMB Commissioncritter Frantz Pierre has hit another brick wall.

Figuratively speaking, of course.

On January 25, 2017, he filed a discrimination lawsuit against the City of North Miami Beach, Deputy City Manager Mac Serda and City Attorney Jose Smith, claiming … wait for it … his civil rights were violated.

Yeah, we’re still giggling.

In August we reported that on June 28, 2017, Frantzie’s spelling (and grammatically) challenged lawyer, Gregory D. Curtis, Esquire, filed a Motion to Stay the court proceedings for 90 days.

Showing no sympathy for the Devil Frantzie, United States District Judge Frederico A. Moreno responded with a resounding “NO!”

Judge Moreno denied Frantzie’s motion to delay the case and then issued a Scheduling Order Setting Trial, calling for mediation to be completed by November 22, 2017, and setting a trial date of January 22, 2018.

One week before the court ordered mediation was to be completed, in a last ditch effort to save his client’s case, Gregory D. Curtis tried on a Ben Kuehne Hat…

And “summited” to the Court a Second Motion to Stay

While managing to misspell the exact same words again.

Which comes as no surprise since he still  hasn’t fixed his own website.

It’s also no surprise that the Honorable Frederico A. Moreno once again told him, “NO!”

Oh, darn!

But, hey, Gregory.  Here’s a consolation prize.

Oh, and here’s one for your “OFICCE,” too.

In the meantime, we offer some unsolicited “legal” advice for the misguided client of Gregory D. Curtis, Esquire.

Frantzie, your case is destined to fail because, as they say, the Devil is in the Details.

YOU put this ball in motion.

YOU violated the city code and refused to bring your property into compliance.

YOU went postal on the code enforcement officer for doing her job.

YOU lied by claiming it wasn’t you.

YOU testified under oath to the Ethics Commission on April 12, 2016 that you had a videotape of the incident.

YOU lied under oath in a sworn deposition to the Ethics Commission on August 8, 2017 that your fantasy video mysteriously disappeared.

YOU tried to score an easy buck by filing this bogus lawsuit.

It was all YOU, Frantzie.

YOU did this.

YOU brought this entire disaster upon yourself.

And now, claiming poor health, YOU want to delay the trial?

And neither does the Judge, who still has no sympathy for the Devil.

Too bad, so sad.

But, hey!  Here’s an idea, Frantzie.

Drop your ridiculous lawsuit and all your problems will magically disappear like your imaginary videotapes.

Well, maybe not all your problems.

You’ll still be YOU.  There’s no fixing that.

The devil may be in the details, but in your case, the Devil is on the dais.

Although, rumor has it, not for long.
