  1. Any follow up on the number of votes for mayor compared to the votes for city council? Also, if someone feels as strongly about the non-resident winning as Beth Spiegel felt about a non-resident running in North Miami Beach, then they should challenge the validity of the candidate in court as well. The residents of North Miami need to take a stand against corruption instead of standing by meekly taking whatever comes their way.

On a side note, did you see/hear who made the motion to remove Dargenson from the Charter review committee at last night’s Commission meeting? None other than our own corrupt official who nominated her, Pee-air. I am waiting on a post about last night’s meeting.

    1. 1,871 people voted in District 2 and 1,640 in District 3. The mayoral race was city wide and 7,285 cast ballots in this race. This is according to the city’s own website, however I did receive information that 7,334 actually voted there. At this time, I don’t know which is the correct number, but once the votes have been certified, we will all know.

Yes, I heard the Spork Weasel made a grand show last night. I am going to watch the council meetings and a blog will be forthcoming.

You know that, though, right? 🙂

  2. A big thank you going out to the apathetic North Miami non voters who stayed home yesterday. New Mayor Lucie Coco Santi will be the new Andre Pierre. A kochon bouzen to carry on his legacy.
