must-readIf you think the “non-profit” scams artists who bleed cities like North Miami and North Miami Beach for “donations” are bad, that’s nothing compared to the ones that fleece the county agencies.  The local “talent” simply doesn’t think big enough.  If they did, they’d appeal to Miami-Dade County, where there’s a heck of a lot more tax dollars to misappropriate, and even less oversight.

But what happens when the Miami Herald joins forces with one of these so-called “non-profits?”

I’d say, “Imagine the possibilities,” but luckily, you won’t have to.  Random Pixels did it for you.

RP posted two awesome exposés on Monday and Tuesday about the non-profit organization, Friends of WLRN, which raises money for its namesake radio station.  The station itself is OWNED by the Miami-Dade County School Board, but as RP spells out, not even the School Board’s Superintendent Alberto Carvalho knows where the money goes.
