End to CAOS? Um, okay.

Ingrid Forbes wants to “end CAOS and corruption” by “bringing stability” by giving her a seat on the dais in North Miami Beach.

Oh, you mean like firing the City Manager and the City Attorney weeks after being appointed as a Replacement Commissioner?

And then selecting the ethically challenged (and future convicted felon) Frantz Pierre as Vice Mayor three weeks later?

Uh, huh.

We realize that Ingrid is new to the politics game, but that’s not how it’s done.

It’s also not how spelling works.

If she had been paying attention for the last several years, North Miami Beach was finally on its way to being a destination of choice instead of a feeder road from I-95 to Aventura.

Despite all the amazing progress that has taken place in NMB in the last seven years after decades of stagnation – and, yes – real corruption, somehow it’s now fashionable for candidates to run on fixing what isn’t broken.

The sensationalized rhetoric being regurgitated by some of the wannabe commissioners is not just laughable, it’s patently false.

But, hey.  Why let facts get in the way of pretty campaign promises?

Or, in Ingrid’s case, a dictionary.

Yep, spelling still counts.
