Tamarac Dumps Interim City Attorney Hans Ottinot, Hires Fox Rothschild Law Firm
The City of Tamarac Commission just voted 4-1 to hire John Herin of Fox Rothschild as their new city attorney effective immediately. Interim City Attorney Hans Ottinot is out.
Too bad, so sad.
Hopefully, North Miami Beach will take a hint.

Thank you, Stephanie. It was your stories about Hans earlier this year–picked up by Tamarac resident A. Losa–that started the snowball now being rolled by the Sun-Sentinel, Red Broward, and Tamarac Talk. I wonder if Bolton and Gelin realize that if they had not pushed so aggressively to hire Hans permanently, they wouldn’t have attracted all the scrutiny they are now receiving in other matters?
Honestly, after listening to Hans graciously step away after the vote, I think he was relieved. My guess is that he sees the absolute disaster that’s coming down the pike due to Bolton’s shenanigans.
My guess is you’re right. Even Hans Ottinot can see that Bolton is a psychopath. I honestly don’t know why he’s still allowed outside unsupervised. I wouldn’t be surprised if one of these days he’s committed to a nut house. He’s that bat shit crazy.
Don’t be fooled by Hans’ “graciousness”. He got fired because he broke ethics rules by not disclosing pertinent information that had to do with monetary exchanges. He even had his wife participate in the scheme. That’s the real story here.

By the way, he’s doing the exact same thing in Miami-Dade County with respect to his employment in NMB. Hopefully, there will be consequences.
