Florida Presidential Primary in 9 Months

Be Prepared to Vote

Renew Your Vote by Mail Request

Vouchers for all families, the legislative milestone led by Speaker of the House Paul Renner, has given our community much to rejoice about. But we still don’t receive what public schools receive on a per student basis. Fairness dictates that we be provided busing, capital for new buildings and equivalent programs for children with disabilities. These are our goals, but we can only succeed if our community continues to vote in every election.

Now is the time to prepare. Several municipal races, including Miami Beach and North Miami Beach, take place this October and November. The Presidential primary is March 19, 2024.

  • If you vote by mail, you must renew your request every 2 years. To request an Absentee Ballot, click or call:

  1. Thank you for reminding Communities to “re-register” for “Absentee ballots” to supposedly stop “Voter Fraud” when in “REALITY” this is creating “fringe” and “Religious” group “BLOCK VOTING?” This has already occurred at the (04-04-2023) Bay Harbor Islands Town Election when the (24 year) “Incumbent” and his alleged “Religious” group “BLOCK VOTED” to promote additional “Religious Institutions” (possibly promoting religion further over education) along (BHI) Town’s Business District?

Instead, please continue to support “SEPARATION OF CHURCH & STATE” education, and only allow “School Vouchers” to remain in our “underfunded” Public Schools! Otherwise, your children’s Public School education will also become an alleged (RKB) Public School “WAREHOUSE,” with a destroyed (#1) ranking education!

    1. I disagree. The money should follow the student, and parents should have the right to choose the best education for their children. Public schools are not always the best option for every child.

  2. Separate is inherently unequal….. Brown v. Board of Education

Vouchers do nothing but create unequal and underfunded public school system perpetuating inequality in education while creating the same divisions that are tearing our society apart, including North Miami Beach!

    1. Public schools have been receiving all the tax dollars and they are still under performing, especially in poorer school districts. School choice gives middle and lower class parents the right to send their kids to better schools, either charter, magnet, or even private. For the most part, public schools don’t have competition for tax dollars, so there is no incentive to improve education. Maybe if school administrators stepped up their game and took education seriously, parents wouldn’t feel the need to seek alternatives.

    2. And, you are correct that “separate is unequal.” School choice gives students the opportunity to go to better schools instead of being forced to attend the ones in their own area that may not be good schools. Being forced to attend your neighborhood school is what separates people from other students in other areas. School choice actually improves educational equality.
