BREAKING: McKenzie Fleurimond is an Anti-Semite!

Despite the decision by the North Miami Beach Mayor and Commission to stop spotlighting any one elected official, Criminal Commissioner McKenzie Fleurimond took it upon himself to hold a City event announcing himself as the “presenter.”

As if that weren’t bad enough, he decided to hold this event on one of the holiest days of the year for Jews.

It’s not McKenzie’s first Jew-hating rodeo.

Last year, the racist ex-City Manager Arthur “Duke” Sorey scheduled an event on Yom Kippur without the knowledge or consent of the two Jewish Commissioners, Barbara Kramer and Fortuna Smukler, and he refused to reschedule it.

McKenzie, of course, had no problem attending.

Commissioner Fortuna Smukler is especially upset and offended at McKenzie’s latest attack on Jews.

“Today is the 6 year anniversary of my fathers passing. He went to Israel when he was 18 years old from Cuba to fight for a Jewish State. For this flyer to come out today, it really stings that the city where I am a commissioner does this. Last year on Yom Kippur, I let it slide. Mistakes are allowed ONCE, but twice NO!! And by the way, even after there were complaints made last year, they did not change it.”

As they say, a picture paints a thousand words.

The story these pictures tell is that McKenzie Fleurimond has proven once again that he is a virulent anti-Semite.

And when someone tells you who he is, believe him.

  1. Which committee discusses these events and makes the decision on the dates? Is McKenzie the only person involved? Is he the one who solely organized this event ? It is outrageous that it is being held during the Jewish New Year but if it was any other day but the Jewish New Year, it is still being held on the Sabbath so that observant Jews can not attend. The whole thing stinks and he and whoever else is responsible need to be held responsible for this debacle.

    1. The Mayor and Commission had already directed the City Manager to make sure that all events were to be either voted on or at least agreed to. They also decided that all events would be “presented” by the Mayor and Commission as a whole, without anyone’s names or pictures on the posters. McKenzie and his two co-conspirators on the dais are taking advantage of the fact that there are only six elected officials now and they can get away with whatever they want until the mayoral seat is filled.

The fact that he completely disregarded the Jewish residents of North Miami Beach shows he has no regard for anyone but himself and his “community.”

  2. Stephanie. The cats are out if the hat. This doesn’t surprise me at all. Their purpose were hiden, but now they really don’t care if they are in the open. They seem to have the support of politicians in higher places.

    1. They have plenty of support from politicians “who look like them.” None of them give a crap about anyone who doesn’t.

  3. How does a city not see this on their calendar? Every holiday should be listed. And honestly, this is NMB. There’s a whole community of religious Jews living there and reformed and conservative Jews are even more spread out through different sections of neighborhoods.
While much has changed through the years, I see a whole new influx of people because of the Jewish schools, which are growing out of their small campuses, by the way.

    1. The only explanation is that McKenzie and his co-conspirators do not care.

Let’s not forget that it was Michael Joseph who fought tooth and nail against annexing the mostly Jewish area known as the “donut hole” because (in his own words), “it would dilute the Haitian vote.”

Daniela also has issues with white people, and especially Jews. We distinctly remember how she lamented at the swearing in on December 1, 2022 that she was now “the only black female on the dais.” Sources have told us that she regularly tells City employees not to talk to the “white Commissioners.”

Yes, much has changed through the years, as you stated. NMB has just gotten more racist and more anti-Semitic, thanks to three of your elected officials, who only care about the residents who “look like them.”

They all need to be voted out of office in November 2024. There is no room for racism and anti-Semitism in your government!

      1. Although I do not live in NMB and have been a homeowner and resident on the now-left coast of Florida, otherwise known as SouthWest Florida, I supported all three of Stephanie’s candidates in last year’s elections. Fortunately, it appears I made a good choice. While I’m actually from Miami, 1958; Ft. Lauderdale, 1981; and now the left-coast of Florida, I believe I’m still a true-blue Below Lake O Floridian. Therefore, it is my honor to request that Stephanie keep us up to date for next year’s election when candidates file to run against the three anti-SoFlo’s in NMB so that we can support more good choices.
Thank you for all you do, Stephanie. You are greatly appreciated

  4. I’m a little bit confused as I understand that there is a liaison in the city that is Orthodox Jewish besides that there are several commissioners that are Orthodox Jewish why can’t they discuss it with those prior to scheduling this event to see if there is any other important dates.

This is absolutely despicable and it’s not like one doesn’t know when Rosh Hashanah is.

    1. From what I understand, there are now two Orthodox Jewish police officers, but they would have nothing to do with the scheduling of City events. There are three Jewish members of the Commission (none are Orthodox, though), but no one consulting any of them before planning this event. Someone dropped the ball with this, but the worst offender is McKenzie Fleurimond, who knows very well when the Jewish holidays are! He had the presence of mind to send this out last year for Yom Kippur … one day before he attended his event on the holiest day of the Jewish year.

  5. How would any religious Jew who observes the high holidays be “offended” by the showing of a woke corrupt Disney Corp movie that is about a magical family? They wouldn’t. Therefore your labeling of the commissioner as an “anti-semite” is without basis. If the movie was shown on a non holiday weekend no orthodox jew would send their child(ren) to the movie anyway. To sum it up the entire post is a nothingburger and you should ignore the commissioner on this matter.

Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Encanto” tells the tale of an extraordinary family, the Madrigals, who live hidden in the mountains of Colombia, in a magical house, in a vibrant town, in a wondrous, charmed place called an Encanto. The magic of the Encanto has blessed every child in the family with a unique gift from super strength to the power to heal—every child except one, Mirabel (voice of Stephanie Beatriz).
