North Miami Stands in Solidarity with Israel

North Miami City Hall

On October 11, 2023 North Miami Mayor Alix Desulme hosted an Israel Solidarity Rally, which was an incredibly moving show of support for the Jewish state.

In retrospect, I wish I had written about this before the rally, but I spent the last week in utter shock over the barbaric attack on Israeli citizens.  I was pretty much unable to do anything but watch the news and cry over the loss of innocent lives.

In addition to North Miami, other South Florida cities such as Miami Beach, Aventura, Hallandale Beach, Dania Beach, Davie, and others, held vigils and rallies to show support and grieve for the more than 1,300 Israelis and 29 30 Americans murdered by the designated terrorist organization known as Hamas.

According to its own charter, its only goal is to “obliterate Israel” (Opening) and “raise the banner of Allah over every inch of Palestine” (Article 6).  Article 13 of the Hamas charter reads, “There is no solution for the Palestinian question except through Jihad.”  As the world has already witnessed, Hamas is intent on enforcing every single word of its evil code.

On the day of North Miami’s rally, former North Miami Beach Commissioner Barbara Kramer posted on her Facebook page:

Barbara was also asked to emcee the rally and she was honored to accept.  Her heartfelt opening speech begins at minute 5:13 on the video on the the City of North Miami’s YouTube Channel.

You can watch the rally in its entirety here:

In the lobby of City Hall there is a wonderful display announcing that North Miami is unequivocally United With Israel.

The City’s recent newsletter also noted about the Rally, “The event demonstrated unwavering support for the State of Israel and promoted unity among the diverse population of North Miami.”

I want to personally thank Mayor Alix Desulme, as well as the entire City of North Miami, for standing with the State of Israel — now and always.

Shalom,

Stephanie

  1. Supporting Israel and it’s people is a necessary position. Until people stop buying the propaganda and become educated in her history, America stands to have more issues than we already have.

It’s no wonder politicans in DC don’t leave office. Greed is one, but handing this country over to the younger generation will weaken us and could be USA’s demise.

This is where your blog turns to North Miami? It does deserve the recognition you brought out. I haven’t heard much about them in some time.

And NMB? You keep your eyes on them. What is their position? I live here. I haven’t seen or heard from the officials.

Long live Israel and the people of Israel.

    1. The support for Hamas in this country is absolutely gut wrenching. I hope Americans are waking up to see that colleges and universities are breeding grounds for anti-Semitism, and that’s where all of this is coming from. “Progressive” professors are spreading their vile hatred of America and Israel to an entire generation of students. It’s not safe to be a Jewish kid in college today. The good news is that university alumni, who are major donors, are now withdrawing o their support. The fact that North Miami officials not only support Israel, but also held a rally was so amazing to me. I was compelled to recognize the City.

North Miami Beach Commissioners passed a Resolution last night supporting Israel. Although it passed unanimously, I am sure the only reason Michael Joseph, McKenzie Fleurimond, and Daniela Jean voted yes is because they are running for re-election next year and they desperately need the Jewish vote. None of them give a crap about Jews, or white people in general, so I’m sure it killed them to say “yes.”

Thank you for writing and thanks so much for supporting Israel!

      Am Israel Chai!
