Sexual predator, failed businessman, and serial liar Philippe Bien-Aime’s dirty little secret

Once upon a time Philippe Bien-Aime was an unsuccessful used car salesman who lived in Plantation with the woman he refers to as his “wife.”

Aside from the fact that he had to file for bankruptcy, was losing his home in a foreclosure action, had two of his failed businesses evicted from their locations, racked up $60,141.41 in Default Final Judgments, and was hit with $46,121.67 in Federal Tax Liens, Philippe Bien-Aime was living the American Dream.

With someone else’s wife.

On March 16, 2001, the woman Philippe claims is his wife, Sarahjane Ternier, filed a paternity lawsuit against Philippe, who had to be ordered to pay child support as the “legal and natural father of SAPHI BIEN AIME JANVIER.”

One month later on April 11, 2001, Sarahjane Ternier married William Jean-Louis in Broward County, Florida.

A month after that on May 24, 2001, Philippe married Marie Rose Evelyn Chauvet in Broward, Florida.

There were no divorces of record for either marriage until February 12, 2018 when it appears that Sarahjane filed for divorce from William in Broward County, where she really allegedly lives.

The odd thing about this curious foursome is that Sarahjane’s now ex-husband, William Jean-Louis, and Philippe’s current legal wife, Marie Rose Evelyn Chauvet, both live together in a home they rent in Miramar.

There is no marriage license of record between Philippe Bien-Aime and Sarahjane Ternier.

All of which is the exact opposite of the fairy tale marriage he described in an interview with Island Origins Magazine which was published on April 29, 2021 during his run for North Miami Mayor.

According to Philippe’s account, “Bien-Aime and his wife Sarah met and fell in love in Haiti, although not all at once. As a nine-year-old, she had a crush on him, but he was 10 years her senior so it would be many years before he felt the same. They reconnected as adults and have been together ever since.”

Even more revolting, Sarajane “beamed” that Philippe is “a loving man, a loving father when talking about her husband’s strengths as a protector and provider.”

As long as you don’t notice the bankruptcy, foreclosures (Oops! He did it again!), the debt, the tax liens, and yes, the garnishment of his wages.

Or the fact that she had to take him to Court to even acknowledge his own daughter.

But, hey, according to the disingenuous Sarahjane, Philippe is a “protector and provider.”

The article also explained, “During his first run for councilman, she wasn’t as involved in campaigning because the kids were so young.”

What it didn’t say was that Philippe had packed up his carpetbag and slithered down to North Miami from Plantation to run for City Council, while Sarahjane and the kids stayed in Plantation.

In fact, Sarahjane only appeared to be interested in divorcing her legal husband in 2018, and playing “housewife” to Philippe by moving to North Miami when he was gearing up to run for Mayor.

Or, as she told Island Origins Magazine, she “quit her nursing job and canvased for him full time.”

Apparently, it was infinitely more prestigious to be “married” to a Mayor than a bankrupt used car salesman.

Even if he is a cheater, womanizer, and sexual predator.

Sadly, Sarajane Ternier had no problem sacrificing her pride and self-esteem for the privilege of being the First Concubine Lady of North Miami.

A gig that Philippe’s legal wife, Marie Rose Evelyn Chauvet, isn’t even remotely interested in taking.

Meanwhile, this abject loser is running for a seat on the Miami-Dade County Commission where, if successful, he will have an even larger assortment of unsuspecting women to prey on.

As always, when it comes to a charlatan like Philippe Bien-Aime, there is plenty more dirt to dig … and dish.

Stay tuned.

  1. Wow… Never ending… Happy I did not vote for him. Ladies, wake up. Don’t fall for him… With his background, we still have some that vote(d) for him.

    1. I once thought Phillip Bien-Aime would have been great for the city of North Miami. A lot times these wanna be mayors go around buying peoples votes with their free turkey and Christmas tree give always. They make themselves appear to be for the people and the community. Phillip is a womanizer but the fruit doesn’t fall to far from the tree… he’s not the only former Mayor with that problem. He’s just the sloppy one. His wife is a nasty being who lacks respect for women.

  2. When we talk about EXPERIENCE!!!!! Hmmmm that is the kind of experience he want us to put our vote for. H…..l no. My vote will go for EXPERIENCE in lean productive stuff, not twice bankrupt on personal administration. That’s the experience he wants to bring to the table?

  3. Stories like this one, along with all the others you’ve shared, creates a lack of trust among non-Haitian voters because of the consistent bad behavior. Why can’t they just get it together and clean up their act?

    1. Paule Villard is the worst offender of fostering distrust among non-Haitians, period. She embodies every single characteristic of a corrupt, third world government, and is a total embarrassment to every single resident in North Miami Beach, especially those in the Haitian community. She has by default proclaimed herself the face of the four Haitian politicians in NMB, but she is also the dumbest one of the bunch. It’s humorous to see her and McKenzie jostle each other for the spotlight, when his intelligence level is barely above hers. Michael Joseph, on the other hand, is very smart, but also very manipulative. Daniela Jean had the most potential to rise above their level, but she owes them for getting her elected, so she acquiesces to their demands.

All four of them are being coached by none other than Andre Pierre, the most corrupt politician in the history of both North Miami and North Miami Beach. He believes he is a kingmaker and none of them dare make a move without his approval. This is not hyperbole. Everyone in the Haitian community knows this and they are terrified of him. After all, Andre framed his own nephew who took the fall and went to jail, and Andre walked away unscathed. When his nephew begged Andre for help, his pleas were ignored by an uncle who has no allegiance to even members of his own family. He only cares about himself and his growing bank account.

And Andre Pierre is now running your entire city because he literally owns a majority of the commissioners on the dais. I am not joking.

The only way to break the circle of corruption and criminality is to replace Paule with Jay Chernoff, and elect Phyllis Smith to the open seat. If voters don’t take immediate action, NMB will be lost forever to what is basically an organized crime ring.

  4. As a North Miami Beach resident for more than 40 years, this is SCARY! And SAD …
We must ENCOURAGE all our family members, friends and neighbors who are eligible to vote to MAKE SURE THEY VOTE for Jay Chernoff and Phyllis Smith!!
    Let’s go Jay and Phyllis!!
