Frantzie Watch: The Weasel Gets Whacked … Again!

As promised by the Miami-Dade Commission on Ethics and Public Trust, after finding North Miami Beach Faux Commissioner Frantz “Weasel” Pierre guilty of exploiting his public position, the agency just issued its Letter of Public Reprimand.

It’s a beautiful thing!

The Ethics Commission vindicated a complaint made by former Code Compliance Officer Tasheema Lewis in her email dated Thursday, April 30, 2015, describing how the Weasel threatened her for doing her job.

Accordingly, the Commission restated that Frantzie told Ms. Lewis “he was a Councilman and that she should not cite violations on his property.”  He added, “when you see this house ignore it … if you want to keep your job, don’t even look at this house, don’t even look in this direction.”

The Commission proclaimed Ms. Lewis to be a credible witness, while Frantzie, on the other hand, “presented a defense that was not supported by any credible, convincing evidence.”

You don’t say!

According to the Public Reprimand, the Weasel’s defense consisted of “two separate inconsistent theories.”

The first was that he was the victim of “a multiple-party conspiracy by City officials and employees to embarrass” him.

As if Frantz Pierre ever needed any help embarrassing himself!

The second was that, although he continued denying he was even present at the scene of the incident, he claimed that even if he did confront the Code Officer, his reaction was justified!

JUSTIFIED?  WTF?

We are almost speechless!

The Ethics Commission’s findings only further confirmed what Frantzie Watchers have always known … that he is a pathological liar.

One only has to read his sworn deposition to understand why the Commission arrived at a similar (although somewhat more gingerly stated) conclusion.

According to the Letter of Public Reprimand, “In the face of the strong and uncontroverted evidence of his guilt, both defenses failed to persuade a single Ethics Commissioner and reflected poorly on Pierre’s capacity for truthfulness.”

As if Frantzie had any capacity for truthfulness in the first place!

Furthermore, in light of Frantzie’s apparent sociopathic nature, the Commission recognized that “Mr. Pierre showed no remorse or contrition for his offense.”

Because showing remorse or contrition would mean that Frantzie knows the difference between right and wrong.  We all know he does not.

In summary, the “Commission wants to make clear to Mr. Pierre, in the strongest possible terms, that his conduct … was appalling and an affront to the people of North Miami Beach.”

But, hey, people.  Thanks to a 5-1 Commission vote at the May 24, 2018 meeting,* which took place just three hours after he was FOUND GUILTY of abusing his power, Frantz Pierre is now your Vice Mayor!

Be proud!

(*We’d love to include a link to the meeting minutes, but no one has bothered to post them yet.  Par for the course.)

In addition, Frantzie’s “actions were an attempt to bully and intimidate a City Employee” and displayed “contempt for the very laws he was sworn to honor and uphold.

If that rebuke weren’t scathing enough, the Commission lamented that, while recipients of such Letters of Reprimand typically learn their lessons and change their behavior, there appears to be no hope that Frantzie will ever see the light.

The Public Reprimand concluded, “Regrettably, given Mr. Pierre’s lack of remorse or even acknowledgment of his wrongdoing, we are doubtful that Mr. Pierre will conform his behavior to the ethical standards required by the Code of Ethics and by common decency.”

Again, no surprise.  As we all know, Frantz Pierre lacks any semblance of common decency.

And lastly, the Commission astutely noted that Frantzie “not only exploited his position of public trust in an attempt to benefit himself, but also showed, in his arrogance, that he believes his official position places him above the law that applies to everyone else.  By way of this reprimand, we inform Mr. Pierre that he is sadly mistaken in that regard.”

This scorching proclamation publicly documented and verified exactly what we here at VotersOpinion have been warning residents about for years – that Frantz Pierre is a dangerous menace to society.

And yet, despite the fact that he is not fit to walk among human beings, much less serve as a representative of your local government, many of you have actually voted for this monster.

Some of you maybe even legitimately.

If ever there was a swamp that needs draining, it’s North Miami Beach.

Yep.  Y’all deserve so much better.
