Frantzie Watch: “Crazy for You”

Poor thingIf you were ever under the impression that North Miami Beach “elected” official Frantz Pierre is serving the residents of the city, you are unfortunately – and sadly – mistaken.

In its efforts to save the city almost three million tax dollars a year, at the July 21, 2015 meeting the five intelligent members of the City Council passed a Resolution authorizing the City Manager to negotiate a contract with a private sanitation company to haul the city’s trash.

Not only was Frantzie NOT one of them, but he skipped out on the first budget workshop last night to protest alongside AFSCME union members against his own colleagues.

In doing so, L’il Frantzie P also proved that he has absolutely no regard for those he is charged to actually represent – the residents of North Miami Beach.  Instead, he chose to “stand with his brothers,” the local and national union members, all but about FOUR of whom do not work – or even LIVE  – in NMB!

According to the Miami Herald’s Lance Dixon’s article, Protesters oppose NMB plan to privatize trash hauling, “Dozens of protesters in green shirts voiced their opposition to the City Council’s recent vote to negotiate a contract with a private company, Waste Management of Florida, to handle trash hauling in the city.”

As you can see for yourself, Mr. Dixon also tweeted a photo of The P Man smirking, and shirking his duties as an “elected” official,  by posing for the protest that FRANTZ HIMSELF ORGANIZED!

Financial adviser union president Janice Coakley claimed she has “done a study” and emphatically stated that the city’s sanitation department “provides great quality service, they just need the tools and new trucks and equipment to do the work and compete with another company.”

What Ms. Coakley’s “expert analysis” failed to mention is that those tools, trucks and equipment require an expenditure of several millions of dollars that the city obviously doesn’t have and cannot afford.

The article also quoted North Miami Beach NON-RESIDENT Debbie Hayden, who is lamenting that a private company won’t provide the “same level of service” that she hasn’t  been receiving “for the past 51 years” because, like most of the protesters who showed up, she doesn’t even live in the city.

Ironically, Ms. Hayden lives in Miami-Dade County, which is currently also bleeding money from its sanitation department.

Only last month, Moody’s Investors Service downgraded the county’s sanitation service from A-2 to A-3.  What this means, as outlined by a July 2, 2015 Miami Herald article, is that Moody’s was expecting the county to raise rates in order to keep its rating up.  Instead, Miami-Dade County faces an uncertain future due to the “higher interest rates for the county’s Waste Management division, which handles trash pick-up throughout Miami-Dade and runs several landfills and an incinerator that generates electricity.”  It also translates into a higher rate for the county’s “plans to borrow about $225 million through 2020 for vehicle expenses and construction projects.”

As a result, cities that contract with the county for garbage service “have the option to contract with private operators and have trash sent out of the county, and Moody’s warns of “considerable” risk that Miami-Dade will lose business this fall.”

So much for Janice Coakley’s “expert” opinion that the only thing they need to keep the city sanitation department running smoothly are “tools, trucks and equipment.”

But this blog isn’t about garbage.  It’s about Frantz.

Yes, I know.  The two words are synonymous.

However, being well known as a come mierda  is the least of Frantzie’s problems.  Psychologically speaking, of course.

If you haven’t heard by now, Frantzie was on the receiving end of a much deserved ass whooping at last night’s council meeting, one of the few he actually managed to attend, once he extricated himself from the protest he organized.

But not before again threatening to fire city employee Jean Pompee in the hallway outside council chambers and screaming loudly as if someone was stabbing him.  The commotion caused the police chief to rush out to the hallway, only to find Frantzie falsely accusing Pompee of “insulting” him.

By this point, if anyone isn’t finally and completely convinced that there is something terribly, terribly wrong with Frantz Pierre, they have been living under a rock.

I took it upon myself to research what the problem might be and it appears he is suffering from an extreme personality disorder known as sociopathy.

Based on the description of this mental disorder published in Profile of the Sociopath, I defy anyone to tell me it’s not all about Frantzie!

Accordingly, the site defines sociopathy as being “characterized by a lack of regard for the moral or legal standards in the local culture. There is a marked inability to get along with others or abide by societal rules.”

Sociopaths can be diagnosed as early as age 15, based on the criteria of which the subject has displayed a disregard for and violation of the right’s of others, those right’s considered normal by the local culture, as indicated by at least three of the following:

A. Repeated acts that could lead to arrest.
B. Conning for pleasure or profit, repeated lying, or the use of aliases.
C. Failure to plan ahead or being impulsive.
D. Repeated assaults on others.
E. Reckless when it comes to their or others safety.
F. Poor work behavior or failure to honor financial obligations.
G. Rationalizing the pain they inflict on others.

The website also “summarizes some of the common features of descriptions of the behavior of sociopaths,” such as:

  • Glibness and Superficial Charm
  • Manipulative and Conning
They never recognize the rights of others and see their self-serving behaviors as permissible. They appear to be charming, yet are covertly hostile and domineering, seeing their victim as merely an instrument to be used. They may dominate and humiliate their victims.
  • Grandiose Sense of Self
Feels entitled to certain things as “their right.”
  • Pathological Lying
Has no problem lying coolly and easily and it is almost impossible for them to be truthful on a consistent basis. Can create, and get caught up in, a complex belief about their own powers and abilities. Extremely convincing and even able to pass lie detector tests.
  • Lack of Remorse, Shame or Guilt
A deep seated rage, which is split off and repressed, is at their core. Does not see others around them as people, but only as targets and opportunities. Instead of friends, they have victims and accomplices who end up as victims. The end always justifies the means and they let nothing stand in their way.
  • Shallow Emotions
When they show what seems to be warmth, joy, love and compassion it is more feigned than experienced and serves an ulterior motive. Outraged by insignificant matters, yet remaining unmoved and cold by what would upset a normal person. Since they are not genuine, neither are their promises.
  • Incapacity for Love
  • Need for Stimulation
Living on the edge. Verbal outbursts and physical punishments are normal. Promiscuity and gambling are common.
  • Callousness/Lack of Empathy
Unable to empathize with the pain of their victims, having only contempt for others’ feelings of distress and readily taking advantage of them.
  • Poor Behavioral Controls/Impulsive Nature
Rage and abuse, alternating with small expressions of love and approval produce an addictive cycle for abuser and abused, as well as creating hopelessness in the victim. Believe they are all-powerful, all-knowing, entitled to every wish, no sense of personal boundaries, no concern for their impact on others.
  • Early Behavior Problems/Juvenile Delinquency
Usually has a history of behavioral and academic difficulties, yet “gets by” by conning others. Problems in making and keeping friends; aberrant behaviors such as cruelty to people or animals, stealing, etc.
  • Irresponsibility/Unreliability
Not concerned about wrecking others’ lives and dreams. Oblivious or indifferent to the devastation they cause. Does not accept blame themselves, but blames others, even for acts they obviously committed.
  • Promiscuous Sexual Behavior/Infidelity
Promiscuity, child sexual abuse, rape and sexual acting out of all sorts.
  • Lack of Realistic Life Plan/Parasitic Lifestyle
Tends to move around a lot or makes all encompassing promises for the future, poor work ethic but exploits others effectively.
  • Criminal or Entrepreneurial Versatility
Changes their image as needed to avoid prosecution. Changes life story readily.

HOLY CRAP!  If this doesn’t describe Frantz Pierre, I don’t know what does!

The issue of privatization will be discussed in future blogs, but for now the biggest problem for the City of North Miami Beach – its elected officials, its administration, its employees and especially the residents – is the apparent psycho in their midst.

Folks, as much as I like to make fun of Frantz Pierre, this is no laughing matter.  It’s already been established that he’s a corrupt politician.  Criminal investigations are pending against him as we speak.

However, the underlying problem lies way deeper than mere public corruption, or even criminal activity.  Even criminals can sometimes be rehabilitated.

In Frantzie’s case, however, while the psychosis from which he appears to suffer can be treated with drugs, therapy and medical supervision, there is no cure for the sociopath.

Based on Frantz Pierre’s past actions, erratic behavior, pathological lies, refusal to acknowledge or accept responsibility for any wrongdoing, and his complete lack of remorse for destroying lives and reputations, there appears to be an immediate and dire need for professional intervention.  His bizarre behavior has only escalated over the years.  It wouldn’t surprise me if one day he becomes a danger to himself and others.

Yes, an arrest on corruption charges would be nice.

But crisis intervention is probably more critical at this point.

As a matter of public safety, of course.

  1. Oh my lord it was terrible last night watching the city council meeting. I saw lots of green people in the audience, I guess they were environmentalists. Then I saw a bald man speaking with a heavy accent that I could not understand. Then I saw an elderly woman, about my age, go up to the podium and yell and scream at Mister Pierre telling him he’s the worst councilman the city has ever had. She was very emotional and it made me want to cry too. How could he be so bad that he made an elderly woman lose control of herself?

Mister Pierre you are a bad, bad man.
