Three years ago we reported that the City of North Miami received the dubious honor of making #7 on RoadSnacks’ 10 Worst Places to Live in Florida for 2019.

In the 10 Worst Places to Live in Florida for 2021, North Miami held on to its #7 ranking.

Like most people who aren’t from South Florida, the editors of RoadSnacks have no idea that the Ancient Spanish Monastery is located in North Miami Beach, not North Miami. But, as it stands now there really is no distinction.

We predicted as far back as September of 2019, more than a year before Daniela Jean’s election sealed the four-Criminal Commissioner vote, that if Michael Joseph had anything to do with it, North Miami Beach would become North Miami 2.0.

As soon as Michael, McKenzie Fleurimond, and the terminally corrupt Paule Villard got Daniela elected, the transformation began in earnest.

The first sign was when the Criminal Four illegally conspired behind closed doors to hire Andre Pierre crony, Hans Ottinot, as the City “Attorney.”

When no one else was paying attention, former North Miami Mayor Andre Pierre quietly got his foot in the door at NMB City Hall as a registered lobbyist for the second-rate company, Pro Transportation, Inc., d/b/a ProKel Mobility, to take over the City’s formerly award-winning trolley system.

As expected, Andre Pierre’s four Puppet Commissioners came through for him.

As a reward for ramming this legislation through on September 15, 2020, a month later Andre hosted a highly successful campaign fundraiser for McKenzie on October 20, 2020.

Unfortunately, since both Michael Joseph and McKenzie were re-elected that year, along with Daniela Jean, North Miami Beach’s fate as a second-rate city was sealed.

A couple of months after “Attorney” Hans was hired, the four Criminal Commissioners completed NMB’s membership in the North Miami Circle of Corruption by appointing the uniquely unqualified Arthur “Duke” Sorey as the City Manager.

Duke then proceeded to remake North Miami Beach into the spitting image of North Miami by destroying every last remnant of transparency, accountability, good governance, and respectability in YOUR CITY.

Since that fateful day, every single horror that we predicted would happen has materialized.

Once Andre Pierre was firmly established as the de facto head of North Miami Beach, earlier this year he had McKenzie strong arm developer Scott Greenwald by threatening not to approve his project unless he hired Andre as his lobbyist because — in McKenzie’s own words — “no Haitian was involved in the project.”

Thus adding North Miami’s system of “governing by extortion” to NMB’s new list of “best” practices.

Much to Andre Pierre’s delight, there is literally no difference between North Miami — the city he turned into a hell hole of corruption, and North Miami Beach — the city he now controls through his four Puppet Commissioners.

Unless something drastic happens to stop the utter madness, by this time next year we fully expect North Miami Beach to end up on RoadSnacks’ list of 10 Worst Places to Live in Florida for 2022.

Fortunately, YOU have the power to drastically change the direction YOUR CITY is headed in by finishing the job that Tuesday’s election results started.

Voters gave a resounding thumbs down to Criminal Commissioner Paule Villard’s campaign slate mates, the Jew-hating Hans Mardy and the America-hating Mark St. Vil, by electing Fortuna Smukler and Phyllis Smith to the Commission.

But if she wins her seat back, it will have been for naught. As long as there is still a four-Criminal Commissioner vote on the dais, nothing will change.

The City of North Miami is the poster child for public corruption, replete with self-serving politicians, extortion, nepotism, abusive spending, election fraud, and vendor kickbacks.
