Daniela Jean, you are so busted! And we are so here for it!

Despite the fact that North Miami Beach Commissioner Daniela Jean thinks she’s too good to mingle with the unwashed masses, and that the residents and city staff of NMB exist only to serve her, we always knew she was hardly the sharpest knife in the drawer.

She also lies with impunity.

In Daniela Jean is not just a “regular person on the street.” She’s so much better than YOU!, we told you about the time she claimed that when she returned from medical leave “there was over 100 calls” that went unanswered because no one had taken a message for her.

Of course, we were curious as to all these “100 calls,” so on May 16, 2023 we made a Public Records Request (PRR) for “the call log for Daniela Jean’s missed ‘100’ calls, as well as copies of any and all voice messages that were left for her” while she was on medical leave.

On or about January 19, 2024 — EIGHT MONTHS LATER — we finally received a response from the City of North Miami Beach in the form of this .png file labeled Daniela Jean Voicemail Log.PNG :

As you can see, there are only twenty-nine (29) “Voice Messages,” which is nowhere near the “100 calls” Daniela claims to have missed while she was on so-called “medical leave” from December 19, 2022 through May 11, 2023.

Interestingly, this was during the same five (5) month period that Daniela and her co-conspirators on the dais were boycotting meetings.

But, we digress.

Over the years, we’ve reported the many antics of this special needs Commissioner, but our latest discovery really takes the cake.

We made a Public Records Request for “any and all emails the city has received from Kim Schwartz” with the email kimschwartz305@gmail.com.  In response, we obtained a 26-page document consisting of eight emails from “Kim Schwartz” to several public officials, as well as two emails from two elected officials in response between the dates of March 1, 2023 and April 11, 2026.

The first email, sent to the City Clerk on March 1, 2023, was a public records request for “Jay Chernoff food drives, staff time City Expenses.”

The second email sent on March 2, 2023 was another public records request for information on the Heart Health Walk.

The third email dated February 22, 2024 was sent from “Kim Schwartz” to then-Mayor Evan Piper, complaining about some imaginary “hateful rhetoric” against “black commissioners.”

Mayor Piper responded to her email on February 25, 2024, asking “Kim Schwartz” to call him to “discuss further.”

Evan Piper has no recollection of whether or not she ever called, but he doesn’t believe so.

On December 6, 2025, “Kim Schwartz” sent an email to Commissioner Phyllis Smith regarding the pending appointment of a City Manager.

Later that same morning, “Kim Schwartz” sent an almost identical email to Commissioner Lynn Su.

On December 8, 2025, Ms. Su responded.

On April 11, 2026, “Kim Schwartz” sent an email to Commissioner Su about some random miscellaneous issues.

And two minutes later, she cut and paste the exact same letter and emailed it to Commissioner Smith.

All that being said, we are curious if any of our dear readers noticed something really, really strange in any of these screenshots of emails.

Anyone?

Okay, we’ll fill you in on the dirty little secret.

For one thing, there is not one resident living in North Miami Beach by the name of “Kim Schwartz.”

For another, in the first email she sent to the City Clerk on March 1, 2023, she requested anonymity.

Then, the idiot literally outed herself in the email she sent the very next day on March 2, 2023.

We literally hurt ourselves laughing!

We already established that her co-conspirator on the dais, Michael Joseph, uses an anonymous surrogate army to do his dirty work, and he’s fooled most people with his aliases.

Daniela Jean, on the other hand, sent “anonymous” emails using an alias in an attempt to throw people off her scent.

Worse, the alias she used was clearly a Jewish name, which makes it even more disturbing considering that she is a “progressive” who invited a raging antisemite to speak at the City of North Miami Beach’s McDonald Center, and refused to disinvite her even after she was alerted about the Jew hater.

But we digress.

Bottom line is that Daniela Jean is a coward who hides behind a fake name to send emails to city officials because she refuses to be transparent.

She’s also as dumb as a box of rocks.

    1. That we know of. I’m still not convinced that Michael Joseph doesn’t have a hand in this. This is his typical MO.

  1. There is no acceptable reason for an elected official to pretend to be a resident when communicating about city matters.

That behavior undermines public trust and raises serious questions about judgment and ethics. And the use of a name like “Kim Schwartz” only makes the situation appear even more questionable. Residents deserve better from those sworn to serve them.

    1. What she did is so manipulative and not at all ethical. Elected officials need to be held to a higher standard, and this stunt is as low as it gets.

  2. How much lower can the bar get before our officials stop slithering under it?
This is embarrassing behavior for anyone in public office. Truly childish. When will it finally stop?

  3. Stephanie, I find the name chosen by Commissioner Jean not just interesting, but offensive. Of all the aliases, why that one? And how is it that someone can simply make up a name and still get through to a commissioner? Shouldn’t a real name, and proper identification, be required?

    1. Michael Joseph has historically sent his anonymous army members to make up aliases and email the commissioners in an attempt to manipulate city officials. Yes, he is that diabolical!

Apparently, his co-conspirator on the dais, Daniela Jean, has picked up a few of his dirty tricks. Not surprised. Birds of a corrupt feather definitely flock together.

  4. How would a “random”, supposed resident know about $20,000 that was spent on a press conference? Where would she get that information? Why not just ask these questions as a commissioner and not go through a charade? This is very childish and manipulative.

    1. Well, we are not talking about a rational adult who genuinely wants to serve the residents of North Miami Beach. The fact that she treats city employees like they are her indentured servants tells us all we need to know about her character — or rather, the lack thereof.

Then again, the fact that she wants to extend her term another ten years in order to collect an undeserved salary on your tax dollars is not a surprise considering she doesn’t have a real job.
