The real cost of Racist Paule Villard’s exclusive party for the women of “her community”

We hope you’re sitting down.

In May, we reported that North Miami Beach Criminal Commissioner Paule Villard spent $8,775.36 of your tax dollars on an event that had absolutely no public benefit for the residents of North Miami Beach.

As it turns out, she actually spent NEARLY THREE TIMES THAT AMOUNT of your hard-earned tax dollars so she could throw the mother of all self-congratulatory parties!

On April 7, 2022, more than seven months ago, we made a Public Records Request for “all costs, including police and employee overtime, as well as copies of all invoices paid with respect to Paule Villard’s “Unsung Heroes” event held March 31, 2022.”

By May 15, 2022, more than a month later, we received the costs of employee overtime for $1,197.57, police overtime for $2,401.64, and a handful of miscellaneous invoices totaling $5,176.15.

Two days ago on November 16, 2022, we received a batch of thirteen documents, ten of which were not provided in the first round City Clerk Andrise Bernard sent on April 7, 2022.

The email from the Clerk included the caveat, “This is a partial response to your public records request.”  Apparently, there are more invoices to come.

Nevertheless, the total cost of Paule’s Friends & Family party so far comes to a total of $23,174.79!

This does not include the totals of what appears to be employee overtime, based on two separate “payroll timesheets” we received (click here and here), which only reflects the number of hours worked but not the employees’ rate of pay.

It also does not include the $1,000.00 that the Criminal Commissioner charged on her taxpayer-funded P Card on March 29, 2022 to JMS Catering, which has no website of its own, but can be found on the Black Pages Miami site.  Since we have not received all the invoices, we still can’t confirm this charge was for her self-promotional party.  However, due to the fact that Paule charged this two days before her event, and the fact no other food invoices were included in the document dump, it seems highly likely.

If that’s the case, as we suspect, the total price tag for Paule’s vanity project will reach NEARLY $25,000.00!

We will, of course, update the total amount if and when we do manage to wrestle the remaining documents out of Andrise Bernard’s tightly clenched fist.

While we wait, let’s take a closer look at exactly who benefited from Paule’s $25K Ode to Her Self-Anointed Royal Highness.

Because there was absolutely ZERO benefit to the taxpaying residents of North Miami Beach!

As you know, Criminal Commissioner Paule Villard and her co-conspirators, Michael Joseph, McKenzie Fleurimond, and Daniela Jean, have been accusing anyone and everyone of being “racist” if they disagree with their freeloading agenda.

If any of one them had actually been involved in the city’s community affairs for longer than five minutes before they decided to run for office, they’d know this is pure nonsense.

But playing the race card is their specialty.

Unfortunately, ever since Daniela Jean was elected solely for the purpose of gaining a four-vote majority, these four have decided to use this shameful tactic to silence all opposition, and to take the spotlight off their uncontrolled spending habits and their own unabashed racism.

Take Paule’s “Unsung Heroes” event, for instance.

Of the THIRTY-FOUR women Paule chose to “honor,” other than herself of course, there was one token white Jew, one token Asian, one black Hispanic, four African Americans, and TWENTY-SEVEN of her fellow Haitian-Americans.

On top of that skewed ratio, only TWO OUT OF 34 WOMEN actually live in North Miami Beach!

That ratio alone proves that Paule Villard doesn’t care one bit about whites, Jews, Asians, Hispanics, Pacific Islanders, or even African Americans.

And she certainly doesn’t give a damn about actual North Miami Beach residents, who foot the bill for this absurdity.

If she did care, ALL of the honorees would have been women who live in NMB, not just two women!

Obviously, the only people Criminal Commissioner Paule Villard cares about, aside from herself of course, are her fellow Haitians.

In fact, the Haitian broadcasting agency, VOA Kreyòl, which produced a video, acknowledged in its coverage on April 4, 2022 that Paule’s party was actually an event to honor only Haitian women.

The video, which was conducted almost entirely in Haitian Creole, only serves to prove that this Paule Villard Vanity Project was solely by, for, and about Haitians.

Period.

WATCH!

North Miami Beach taxpayers also funded the City’s nearly five-hour long “official” video of her party, which was narrated by her taxpayer-funded personal Public Affairs Manager, Phillip Tavernier, and posted it on its official Facebook page.

Of course, this was Criminal Commissioner Paule Villard’s plan all along.

Ever since she was elected in 2018, Criminal Commissioner Paule Villard has been trying to remake the City of North Miami Beach into her own image.

We mean that figuratively, of course.

Despite the fact that Haitian Americans represent approximately 20% of the City’s 42,507 residents, if Paule had her druthers, the North Miami Beach government would cater only to members of “her own community.”

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, North Miami Beach is made up of a very diverse mix of races and ethnic origins.

While “whites” make up 44.7% of the population, the majority of which are of Hispanic descent, a fair amount of the black population are Latinos as well.

Regardless of race, a full 38% of the North Miami Beach population is Hispanic, yet their voices are rarely heard at City Hall!

And even though the City’s population is equally divided between whites and blacks, Criminal Commissioner Paule Villard and her racially divisive colleagues conveniently ignore the half that “don’t look like them.”

Just ask Paule’s hand-picked racist City Manager Arthur “Duke” Sorey who, when reviewing the job applications for Capital Improvement Program Manager, announced in a directors’ meeting that even though one candidate stood out as the most qualified for the position, he “couldn’t hire a Brazilian in a black city.”

Aside from the taxpayer-funded $25,000 that Paule stole to throw an exclusive party for her personal friends and family, the real cost is the despicable racial animosity and disunity being foisted on the residents of North Miami Beach since she was first elected!

Despite Paule Villard’s best efforts, she has failed to divide a community that has always been united in spirit and kinship regardless of race, creed, or color.

REJECT PAULE VILLARD’S RACISM BY MAKING HER A ONE-TERM COMMISSIONER!

VOTE FOR JAY CHERNOFF ON NOVEMBER 22, 2022!
